Crescent Lake is located in Putnam and Flagler counties in North Central Florida. Spanning over 15,900 acres, this popular lake is known for its natural scenery and beautiful views. The lake was formerly known as Dunn's lake before its name was changed to Crescent Lake.
The 3528 acre Crescent Lake Conservation Area borders the lake. It serves as a home for much of the local wildlife including Osprey and Bald Eagles. There are also recreational activities in the conservation area to enjoy. Visitors can engage in horseback riding, hiking, cycling, and tent camping. Of course, fishing is very well enjoyed on the lake, as well. For boat anglers, there is a public use boat ramp on the western side of the lake. Anglers aren't the only visitors to the lake that enjoy boating. Canoeing and Kayaking are also popular activities on the lake. |
